We are seeking a skilled multi-trade carpenter to carry out a wide range of repairs, maintenance, and installation works across social housing properties. The role requires strong carpentry skills alongside the ability to undertake additional trades to ensure high-quality, efficient, and customer-focused service delivery. Carry out all aspects of carpentry repairs, maintenance, and installations as a multi-trade carpenter in both occupied and void properties. Deliver a variety of secondary trade works, including basic plumbing, plastering, tiling, and painting, to provide a comprehensive repairs service. Work flexibly as a multi-trade carpenter, ensuring jobs are completed to a high standard, first time, and with minimal disruption to tenants. Maintain safe working practices in line with health & safety legislation, including completing risk assessments where required. Accurately record job details, time, and materials using handheld devices or job sheets. Represent the organisation professionally, providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong tenant relationships. Support colleagues and supervisors in delivering an efficient, cost-effective repairs service across the housing stock. Participate in out-of-hours and emergency call-out rotas as part of the multi-trade carpenter role.
