Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Electronic and Electrical Engineering
About The Role
We seek a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, with expertise in smart wearable technology and sensors, who will contribute to the Department of Engineering at Nottingham Trent University. The Department is characterised by an innovative approach to education in partnership with industry, emphasising innovation and project delivery on a foundation of core engineering expertise. We are looking for someone with a proven ability applying engineering knowledge to innovate. You will be an inspiring educator, aiming to develop project-based teaching in the context of real-world applications and thrive in a collegiate Department.
You will have a PhD in a relevant Engineering or Technical discipline and an emerging record in research. Preferred areas of research application include one or more of medical technology, engineering education scholarship, smart materials, human factors, industry digitisation, smart wearables or sustainable energy. The successful candidate will be able to teach a module in engineering design and lead capstone project modules. We also welcome applicants with industrial experience.
