Cammach are currently recruiting an Environmental Lead for a leading Independent Oil & Gas Operator in Aberdeen on a staff basis. The role will be providing environmental leadership and drive to ensure the highest environmental standards are met; legislation complied with; management systems implemented effectively; performance monitored; and performance improvement programs identified and implemented. Ensuring regulatory and internal company reporting requirements are complied with, and issues managed, with respect to operations. KEY REQUIREMENTS: Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline, i.e. engineering or scientific subject preferably environmental engineering, marine biology or environmental related. Comprehensive understanding, thorough knowledge of, and experience in implementing and complying with environmental related legislation Strong HSEQ culture Supervisory experience, ideally within an environmental department of an Oil and Gas Operating company This is the senior level of work and expected to have very deep and broad knowledge applied to solving highly complex issues A full job description is available upon request.
