Company Description
We have developed a special proprietary enzyme for which we have filed a patent, to produce isomalt. We are only the second company in Europe to produce it, The other two are Beneo and Cargill, but Cargill produces in China. We wish to market this product together with other low calories sugars which we will import and sell under our brand name. We also have a coproduct, trehalulose which no one in the world produces. It currently comes as part of the very expensive stingless bee honey which has strong therapeutic values which values have now been adopted by the Australian government.
Isomalt is currently used as a versatile sugar substitute in baking, confectionery, sugar art, and the production of sugar-free products like candies, chewing gum, chocolates, baked goods, and medicated lozenges.
The derivative of the products will also be available that can sell at much higher prices to the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry albeit in much lower volumes.
Food Industry Applications
Isomalt is widely used to create sugar-free hard candies, tablets, baked goods, chocolates, and chewing gum, providing sweetness and mouthfeel similar to sugar but with fewer calories. Its stability under high heat makes it suitable for boiled, baked, and heated products, such as cough drops and malt beverages.

Role Description
This is a contract remote role for a well established sales person with access to B2B sales users. The expert will be expected to quickly deliver the product to industrial users of our items and other food ingredients leading to relatively short product sales. The initial target is 20 tons a month and this needs to go upto 250 tons a month, steadily increasing, all 3-5 products included and even more. The demand of these products is more than 10 times our target.
Price wise, we are very well placed.
Qualifications
* Extensive succesful experience in B2B sales and client relationship management
* Knowledge of low glycemic index products such as isomaltulose, isomalt and others and trehalulose (you can search google for full benefits)
* Sales and negotiation skills
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Ability to work independently and remotely
* Proficiency in market research and identifying potential clients
* Experience in the food and drinks manufacturing industry or the cosmetics sector is a plus
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
