Salary: £56,500
We are supporting a growing, multi-site manufacturing business in hiring a Multiskilled Shift Engineer to join their team. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving machinery to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
You will play a key role in maximising equipment reliability and supporting production targets across both electrical and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance
* Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
* Respond quickly to breakdowns and support production teams
* Conduct routine equipment inspections
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
* Maintain accurate maintenance records
* Assist with installation and commissioning of equipment
* Follow health and safety standards
Experience & Qualifications
* Experience in manufacturing, production, xxuwjjq or similar environment
* Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge (e.g. PLCs, hydraulics, motors, conveyors)
* Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or equivalent)
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
* Good communication skills
