Functional Skills Maths Tutor – Helping Learners See the Value of Maths
At TP Tutors, we believe maths should feel relevant, practical, and achievable for every learner. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Functional Skills Maths Tutor who can bring numbers to life and help learners develop confidence in their mathematical abilities.
What you’ll do:
* Deliver Functional Skills Maths sessions across a range of levels.
* Create engaging, practical lessons that link maths to real-life situations and everyday problem-solving.
* Support learners in gaining the skills and qualifications they need for education, employment, or further training.
* Track and record progress, providing constructive feedback to help learners grow in confidence and competence.
What we’re looking for:
* UK Experience delivering Functional Skills Maths.
* Strong understanding of the curriculum, assessment requirements, and diverse learning needs.
* A creative, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
* A Child-Only Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
