Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair trailers, addressing mechanical breakdowns and damage to minimize delays.
* Provide technical advice and support to team members.
* Conduct weekly inspections of vehicles.
* Travel to local sites as required.
* Perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
* Support other duties as directed by the company.
* Be available for call-outs.
* Read schematics and troubleshoot issues.
* Use hand and power tools for repairs.
* Weld components as needed.
* Assemble parts and systems per specifications.
* Operate forklifts safely within the workshop.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Communicate effectively with clients about trailer needs.
Experience
* Proven mechanical repair experience, preferably with trailers.
* Understanding of electrical systems related to trailers.
* Experience with hand tools, power tools, and welding.
* Forklift operation experience is advantageous.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
