The Palliative Care Directorateare based within the Primary Care and Community Division of ABUHB, providing care for patients across Gwent. We are lookingfor aspecialty doctorin Palliative Medicinewho, under the supervision of the Palliative Medicine Consultants,willprovideeffective andappropriate medicalcare for palliative carepatients within Aneurin Bevan Hospitals. We are aiming to provide cover for the service betweenthe hours of8:00 and 18:30, with the hours of on-site work being between 9am and 5pm and potential for off-site/telephone on-call cover between the hours of 8-9am and 5-6.30pm.Proposed job plan is attached within the JD although we are flexible. Main duties of the job As a senior employee of the Health Board the post holder will work in close co-operation with, and support other clinical, medical professional and managerial colleagues in providing high quality healthcare to the Health Board's patients.
