Qualifications and Experience:
14. Level 3 Qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI or equivalent)
15. Proven experience working in a franchised dealership or independent workshop
16. Proficient in vehicle diagnostics, fault finding, and repair
17. Competent in routine servicing and maintenance of vehicles to manufacturer standards
Skills and Expertise:
18. Strong understanding of modern vehicle systems and diagnostics equipment
19. Ability to interpret technical data and vehicle repair manuals
20. Skilled in using diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
21. Experience with EV/hybrid systems is a plus but not essential
Personal Attributes:
22. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
23. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively
24. Strong communication skills for liaising with colleagues and customers
25. A team player who is also capable of working independently when required
Additional Requirements:
26. Full UK Driving Licence
27. MOT Tester accreditation desirable but not essential
28. Willingness to undertake manufacturer training and continuous professional development
Benefits and Remuneration:
29. Competitive salary ranging from £30,368 to £45,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications
