Overview
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning. The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for both attainment and behaviour. Key Responsibilities
* Play a key role in shaping vital early experiences, working alongside a supportive team to deliver an inspiring and engaging curriculum that enables every child to thrive.
* Deliver a high‑quality early years curriculum, ensuring that each child’s development is supported across all areas.
* Maintain high expectations for attainment and behaviour, fostering a positive learning environment.
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider community to support children’s learning and well‑being.
* Engage in professional development and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified teacher with experience in early years/primary education.
* Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
* Appointed teachers must meet safeguarding, DBS and other statutory checks as required.

Thomas Telford Primary Free School is currently operating from temporary demountable accommodation until September 2026; prospective candidates may visit the site and view the new school building under construction from the roadside, as well as explore the exciting design plans.
