Job Description:
Are you passionate about supporting children with their mental health needs?
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Youth Mental Health Worker in a school in Bracknell. This role offers valuable experience and the chance to make a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
The school emphasizes supporting students diagnosed with Autism, providing necessary interventions to aid their development and education.
As a Youth Mental Health Worker, you will assist children in managing their emotions and mental health, helping them regulate feelings and adopt healthy coping strategies.
Your daily tasks include supporting and shadowing the class teacher, providing 1:1 support for SEN students, and facilitating engaging lessons to create a fun and positive classroom environment. Behavioural management skills may also be required.
This role is a transformative experience, enriching your life while positively impacting children struggling to cope in the classroom.
Experience working with vulnerable children is desirable but not essential. A background in sports, art, or drama is advantageous. Graduates in relevant fields will also be considered.
