Job Responsibilities

1. Ensure all relevant Standard Operating Procedures, sales, and policies & procedures are understood and adhered to, with mandatory training kept up to date.
2. Implement Vistry's commitment to delivering excellent customer service by advocating the customer journey and consistently exceeding expectations.
3. Assist with internal or external audits in line with Vistry Values of ICQ.
4. Use Vistry systems to perform your role effectively, ensuring clarity of information records for business needs.
5. Represent Vistry professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
6. Proactively seek prospective sales, follow up enquiries via phone and marketing literature to maximize business opportunities.
7. Manage and implement new sales innovations, negotiate with customers for optimal sales outcomes.
8. Maintain awareness of local market and economic conditions.
9. Travel to designated developments for pre-booked customer appointments.
10. Maintain detailed knowledge of all relevant house types, build progress, and availability to assist customer purchase decisions.
11. Be knowledgeable about purchase assistance schemes, alternative sites, and house types to offer tailored options.
12. Promote customer extras, manage reservations, and drive additional profit.
13. Respond to cancellations, attempt to save reservations, and offer suitable alternatives.
14. Coordinate with site teams to understand build progress and provide customer updates.
15. Ensure effective communication of the sales process within the team and to stakeholders.
16. Take responsibility for company property, equipment, and presentation on-site.
17. Maintain the sales environment, including show homes, in line with brand standards.

Candidate Requirements

* Experience in a customer-facing role, delivering under pressure.
* Experience in lead generation and sales through telephone-based business development.
* Proven success in completing sales processes with customers.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
* Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Office.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
* Patience and professionalism in handling difficult situations.
* Interest in property and the housing market.
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle; willingness to travel and work weekends.
* Flexibility in duties and hours.

Desirable qualifications include 5 GCSEs including Mathematics and English, or equivalent, and A Levels.
