Overview
We are looking for a Temporary Accommodation (TA) Asset Manager to lead the asset management and investment strategy for the council's TA stock. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a new asset management strategy and investment plan, which you will then take through our internal governance procedures. You will also be responsible for the delivery of the suite of maintenance services (Voids, Investment, Compliance and Day-to-Day) by our newly appointed contractor, delivering improvements in process which will deliver time/cost savings. Knowledge of Building Safety and the emerging legislation around damp and mould, would be hugely beneficial in this role.
It is essential that you have substantial experience in planning and delivering services within a large or complex organisation, strong knowledge of building construction and property maintenance, and excellent planning and organisation skills – these should be focussed around delivering the best possible outcomes, for our customers.

The ideal candidate will have the authority and credibility to build internal and external relationships, while engaging with colleagues, partners, and customers at all levels in a complex and often politically sensitive environment. You will be responsible for managing budgets and contracts, preparing tenders, and writing specifications, which yield tangible performance outcomes.

Any-Desk:
As an ‘any-desk’ worker, you’ll need to be connected to our network to access digital folders and resources, but this can either be from home or an office location when required. You will be required to work from the office a couple of times a week, depending on your role and team requirements.
