Role Overview
The role is a Field Service Engineer / Service Technician, focusing on material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks, and pickers. Essentially, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing these machines at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance & Repairs
* Perform servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a range of client's equipment.
* Work independently to diagnose faults and fix issues with forklifts and other material handling machines.
* Parts & Inventory Management
* Manage the parts stock, ensuring necessary components are available for repairs.
* Maintain accurate service records, reports, and timesheets.
* Customer Interaction
* Engage with customers professionally while working onsite.
* Ensure customer satisfaction during service visits, as this is a customer-facing role.
* Compliance & Reporting
* Complete detailed reports of maintenance work.
* Ensure safety standards and company policies are followed.
Working Hours & Benefits
* Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 16:00 pm.
* Permanent employment with company benefits.

Candidate Requirements
* Background in electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred.
* Previous experience in maintenance or service roles such as:
* Automotive technician
* HGV engineer
* Mobile plant or forklift engineer
* Ex-forces military vehicle engineers
* Full driving license.
* Comfortable working unsupervised.
* Experience in customer-facing environments is a plus.
