Specific responsibilities Deliver specialist tailored support services to women who are accessing the transitional supported accommodation and contribute to the creation of a safe, trauma informed, welcoming environment. Assist women when accessing the accommodation and set up together their licence/ contract, housing benefit and any other paperwork with them. Carry a caseload. Undertake regular risk assessment with/ on individuals, locations and activities and review accordingly. Develop regular support plans in line with the needs of those we support, and review accordingly. Enable those you support to achieve meaningful and impactful outcomes, led by them. Support women to maintain their licence agreement/ contract and help them prepare for moving on to independent living by providing housing related support Support women within the accommodation to have a voice and provide feedback within the organisation and the sector, including surveys, listening sessions and external opportunities Signpost and refer women to the services they wish to engage with for example social services, police, health, legal, DWP, housing, homelessness, recreational, educational, and cultural services and also CWA’s other internal services. To act as an advocate on behalf of individuals living in the accommodation, encouraging and supporting self-advocacy as appropriate. Work with individuals in an empowering and engaging manner, as set out in our Model of Support policy Assist in ensuring the safe and effective running of the accommodation including organising house meeting, assisting with regular health and safety inspections, reporting general maintenance/repair requirements, housekeeping, facilitation of room turnarounds and occasional room cleaning in a timely manner. Work collaboratively with the Local Authority, HSG and other RSL’s to ensure accommodation pathways are easily accessible, referrals for move on are appropriate, clear and concise, and to continue to promote effective multi agency working. Ensure accurate and timely records are maintained in relation to all aspects of the service and case work, including inputting information into our Information Management System. Assist in producing qualitative and quantitative data, including for example, the creation of case studies. To be fully aware of safeguarding procedures within Cyfannol and report to line manager any concerns /issues in this area. To assist, when directed, with the delivery of group and educational programmes.
