Summary: West Wales Rivers Trust is a charity dedicated to restoring and safeguarding the rivers of West Wales for people and wildlife. The West Wales Rivers Trust is in a period of growth, and we are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Operations Manager and CEO with the day-to-day running of the Trust. Due to the need to diversify our income streams, the Trust operates on a range of grant funding activities to deliver our charity objectives and is now growing other income streams to in order to self-fund our own regional projects. Requirements of the Role (would include but not limited to): Grant funding claim management including expenses, staff timesheets, payments and invoicing. Grant project financial management and oversight. Monthly payroll for the Team including salaries, pensions and HMRC requirements, interfacing monthly with our accountant. Diligently maintaining and checking the invoice log, staff expenses records and project allocations. Arranging of meetings and attending where appropriate. Responsible for meeting minutes/ actions. Attendance to weekly Team meetings (Tuesday mornings). Supporting with the management of internal Quality Assurance Systems (including technical delivery, HR, organisation policies). Coordinating and managing (where appropriate) our casual worker pool. Grant application and project tendering support. The following skills are required: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. Skilled in managing and prioritising a large and varied workload. IT literate with experience using Microsoft Office packages, including basic Excel. Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
