Position: Full-Time Music Teacher (Secondary Setting)
Contract: June 2024 - Summer
Start Date: June 2024
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Music Education.
2. Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
3. Proven experience teaching music at the secondary level, demonstrating a track record of student success and engagement.
4. Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
5. Commitment to professional development and a passion for continual learning and improvement.
Responsibilities:
6. Deliver engaging and dynamic music lessons to students aged 11-16, fostering a love for music and developing student's musical skills.
7. Plan and implement a comprehensive curriculum that meets national standards and caters to varying abilities and interests.
8. Organise and lead extracurricular music activities, including choirs, bands, and school concerts.
9. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
10. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to the school community.
