Job Title: Electrical Contract Manager Location: Central London Salary: Up to £80,000 negotiable package (car allowance or vehicle, pension, bonus scheme) Sector: Commercial (Cat A and Cat B fit-outs) Project Values: £1m to £5m About the Role Our client is seeking a highly experienced Electrical Contract Manager to lead and deliver commercial Cat A and Cat B fit-out projects across Central London. With project values ranging from £1m to £5m, you will take full ownership of electrical contracts from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a senior leadership role within a growing company that is expanding its mechanical and full M&E project delivery capability. You will play a pivotal role in client management, project delivery, and supporting the strategic growth of the business. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage multiple electrical contracts simultaneously, overseeing teams, budgets, and programmes. Provide leadership to site managers, supervisors, and project engineers across all electrical packages. Oversee procurement, labour allocation, subcontractor management, and supply chain relationships. Take responsibility for health, safety, and compliance across all projects. Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and repeat business. Drive commercial performance, ensuring projects are delivered to budget and maximising profitability. Collaborate with senior leadership on business development and support expansion into mechanical/M&E delivery. Mentor junior managers and help develop talent within the team. Candidate Requirements Proven experience as an Electrical Contract Manager or Senior Project Manager within the commercial fit-out sector. Strong track record delivering Cat A and Cat B projects in London with values typically £1m-£5m. Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, compliance standards, and project delivery processes. Ability to lead multiple projects, manage budgets, and deliver programmes to deadline. Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills. Strong commercial acumen with experience in cost control and contract negotiation. M&E exposure advantageous, with flexibility to oversee mechanical elements as the company expands.
