What you'll do:

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to join our Energy team at Miller. Main Responsibilities include providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Head of Energy and the Senior Leadership Team facilitating their ability to concentrate on core responsibilities and strategic objectives.

Over the years Miller has also built one of the largest and most skilled Energy broking teams in the UK. Whatever field our client is in, we can arrange solutions to help them protest all aspects of their business operations.

Role Responsibilities:

* Provide secretarial support to a Head of Business Unit and/or Senior Management Team Leader(s)
* Manage schedules and diaries by arranging and planning meetings, teleconferences, travel and hotel accommodation
* Manage all correspondence and enquiries, including phone calls, emails and letters
* Produce and provide documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations for meetings
* Processing expenses and maintaining a filing system
* Providing general administrative support
Planning conferences, workshops, seminars and other team events
* Arranging dinners, social events and public appearances
* Taking minutes at meetings, preparing the minutes and subsequently distributing to all participants
* Liaising with other members of staff and external parties such as clients/visitors
* Contribute to and manage projects
* Maintain and update internal databases (Salesforce).
* Provide cover for other PA’s as and when required
* Providing support to the BU Team Secretaries by offering guidance and assisting with the coordination of team events and activities to ensure their successful delivery.
* Adhere to and meet fully the expectations of Miller, as set out in its policies and procedures, training material, and embedded in its systems and controls. Our policies and procedures are written to encapsulate the compliance, legal and financial crime related legislation and regulations which apply to Miller.
* Comply with any external rules and requirements imposed on individuals performing their role at Miller, such as Lloyd’s byelaws and FCA rules.

Qualifications

* GCSE English and Maths at C / 4 or above (or equivalent)

Experience

* Experience in a similar role is essential, preferably in an insurance brokerage.

Knowledge

* Knowledge of insurance and the role of the insurance brokerage would be preferred
