We have a rare opportunity for an Existing Mortgage Sales Manager or Senior Mortgage Advisor looking to progress their career. This role will cover 5 branches across West Midlands and could be a real career starter for the right individual.
Permanent Full time. OTE of circa £80k and an excellent benefits package.
Basic Salary: £46,945 per year (estimated).
Responsibilities
* Responsible for the certification of those MSC’s under their span of control.
* Develop a team of Mortgage Consultants to achieve personal business objectives and set performance & quality standards.
* Support recruitment, development, and retention of Mortgage Consultants in line with the company’s recruitment plan.
* Work closely with Estate Agency colleagues and the New Homes team to ensure a consistent, joined‑up approach to all business development activities, delivering first appointment volumes in line with business plans.
* In conjunction with the Divisional Mortgage Services Director, implement, monitor, and evaluate business plans to achieve required growth in revenue from various income streams.
* Ensure team members maintain best practice and adhere to all relevant legislation, promoting a consistent, high‑quality, customer‑focused approach and ensuring the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) are respected.
* Work closely with the Divisional Mortgage Services Director and the Training Team to review training & development needs of team members.
* Deliver a challenging and rewarding environment that encourages staff to continually add value, improve ways of working and grow personally.
Qualifications
* CeMAP qualification (or industry‑recognised equivalent) required.
* Proven track record as a sales leader in Mortgage services.
* Excellent technical & e‑commerce knowledge relevant to housing and mortgage markets.
* Experience in leading, developing, motivating and influencing sales people in a customer‑facing environment.
* Excellent knowledge of financial‑services core products: Mortgages, Life Assurance, Critical Illness, Income Protection, Buildings & Contents Insurance.
* Working knowledge of identifying and maximising business opportunities within the estate‑agency environment.
* Working knowledge of all legislation impacting a financial‑services business, specifically mortgage & protection.
* Good technical & e‑commerce knowledge to train Mortgage Consultants using a mortgage‑sourcing software solution.
