Enterprise Architect 6 Month Contract Location: Home / Andover Rate: £750 - £800 per day (Outside IR35) We are looking to recruit an SC Cleared Enterprise Arcitect with deep expertise in Sparx Enterprise Architect for a leading technology consultancy. This is a strategic role where you will shape architecture vision, frameworks, and governance while ensuring Sparx EA is leveraged as the backbone for modelling and repository management. You will work across business, technology, and data domains to deliver architecture strategies that enable secure, scalable, and sustainable solutions for complex defence environments. This is a hybrid role and you will be required to work 2 days a week onsite in Andover. Valid SC clearance is essential, and previous MOD / Army experience is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and assurance of Enterprise Architecture vision, strategy, and roadmaps, including 'as-is', 'to-be', and transitional states. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to embed architecture considerations throughout the delivery lifecycle. Guide client organisations on business, technology, and data decisions, ensuring reuse, sustainability, and value for money. Design and maintain Sparx EA repositories, including meta-model updates, MDG customisation, and governance structures. Create and assure architecture artefacts: Enterprise models, system context diagrams, conceptual/logical data models. Contribute to architecture principles, policies, and standards, ensuring compliance with corporate, industry, and defence regulations. Influence delivery of cross-cutting capabilities that enable change across portfolios and programmes. Support stakeholders in aligning decisions with enterprise architecture strategy and reference architectures. Essential Skills & Experience: Expert-level Sparx Enterprise Architect experience, including repository management, meta-modelling, and MDG customisation. Proven track record in Enterprise Architecture across business, data, and technology domains. Strong knowledge of TOGAF or similar frameworks (Zachman, MODAF). Experience working in secure environments and applying best practice for solution security (e.g., OWASP, NCSC cloud security principles). Familiarity with Secure Software Development Lifecycle processes. Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and influence senior stakeholders. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
