OVERVIEW
An award-winning, multi-practice regional firm is seeking an experienced Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join our collaborative and professional team. We offer clear progression opportunities and work with a loyal client base, including high-net-worth individuals, on a broad range of complex and high-value commercial, construction, property, contractual, and professional disputes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage an independent and varied caseload of commercial disputes, including construction disputes with adjudications and commercial landlord and tenant matters, with minimal supervision.
Advise clients on commercial litigation, including JVA disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, providing practical guidance on strategy, risks, and resolution options.
Handle property litigation, including disputes concerning easements, restrictive covenants, injunctive proceedings, boundary disputes, adverse possession, and property damage claims, as well as residential possession claims.
Act for clients in contentious trusts and probate disputes.
Conduct mediations and arbitration's, providing strategic and commercially focused advice.
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
Liaise with clients, counsel, and other professionals to ensure smooth case progression and effective outcomes.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with at least 5 years post-qualification experience in commercial, construction, property, contractual, and professional disputes.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
Experience in litigation, mediation, and arbitration, including drafting pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to provide practical and commercial advice and maintain effective professional relationships.
Motivated to progress and develop within a regional award-winning firm.
Comfortable engaging in business development initiatives and professional networking when required.
