Our Client - a well revered chartered insurance broker, based in Birmingham, are seeking a Finance Manager to work in a busy Finance department to take on responsibility for the management of client money and general office accounts
Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Financial Controller, assist with the development of budgets and financial plans for the company
* Assist in the preparation of month end reports
* Working with the wider team, taking responsibility for client credit control, account reconciliation, managing aged debtor and aged credit reports.
* Volunteer for ad hoc projects as required
* Ensuring that all financial transactions are appropriately recorded in line with FCA requirements
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business economics or finance related field – preferred but not essential
* ACA, ACCA or CIMA – either qualified or part qualified
* Experience in the financial services industry
