Position Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of our bespoke AHU’s, according to CAD/engineering drawings and specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety standards in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret technical documents: Read and analyze CAD/engineering drawings and specifications to determine project requirements and AHU/unit layouts.
* Fabricate and assemble: Cut, shape, and assemble metal materials (steel, aluminium, stainless steel, etc.) using a variety of tools and machinery.
* Weld components: Join metals using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques on different material thicknesses.
* Adhere to safety standards: Follow company and industry safety regulations and procedures, including correct PPE usage.
* Collaborate: Work effectively within a team, communicating clearly with supervisors, project managers, and teammates to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
* Material handling: Operate material handling equipment, if required.
Required Education & Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator in a manufacturing or construction environment.
* Proficiency in MIG welding and knowledge of its equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings.
* Experience with fabrication tools such as grinders and drills.
* Strong understanding of health and safety protocols and a commitment to a safe work environment.
