What skills and experience we're looking for
About the Role: The successful applicant will deliver French across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, and will play a key role in promoting cultural capital and linguistic immersion. We are looking for someone who can bring the French language and Francophone cultures to life in the classroom, fostering curiosity, confidence, and global awareness in our students. We are proud to embed Conti methodology in our MFL teaching and curriculum, supporting students to develop fluency through high-frequency language, engaging content, and spontaneous use of the target language. There is also the potential scope to offer another language through our Broad Horizons programme.
You will be a motivated and positive team player, determined to ensure all students succeed regardless of barriers. You will win hearts and minds, and inspire, enthuse and motivate staff and students alike.
This is an exciting time at Hayle Academy as we work collaboratively to embed our digital transformation strategy, giving teachers and students the very best digital tools available to enhance teaching and learning. Teaching and Learning is at the heart of our school; the successful applicant will need to have a passion to continue to deliver great learning opportunities to our students, to continue to develop this aspect in their own practice and to share within their faculty.
