Teaching Personnel are looking for confident and resilient individuals to work as Behaviour Mentors across a range of schools in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong interpersonal skills who can build positive relationships and support young people who may display challenging behaviour or have social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
The Role:
* Support pupils with behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties in small groups or on a 1:1 basis
* Encourage engagement in learning through positive relationships and clear boundaries
* De-escalate challenging situations and model appropriate behaviour
* Work closely with teaching and pastoral staff to implement behaviour plans
* Promote resilience, confidence, and positive outcomes for all pupils
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
* Experience working with children or young people (in schools, youth work, coaching, or care settings)
* Confidence managing behaviour and building rapport quickly
* A calm, patient, and consistent approach
* A genuine passion for helping young people succeed
* A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
