Summary
We are seeking a skilled Window Fitter based in the Derby area to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our installations meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship, contributing directly to our mission of customer satisfaction.
This job is on a sub-contract basis where the company will provide a van, fuel and all necessary ancillary's for the window / door installations.
All work is generated by the company presenting the successful applicant with the opportunity to increase earning potential.
There may also be the opportunity for the successful candidate, if they wish, to buy into the company on a profit share basis.
Responsibilities
* Install windows and doors with precision and care.
* Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
* Communicate effectively with clients regarding installation processes.
* Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installations.
* Keep work areas clean and organized.
* Provide excellent customer service throughout the installation process.
Qualifications
* A minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Window Fitter.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Strong knowledge of construction practices and techniques.
* Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to read schematics and technical drawings is preferred.
* Good communication skills for client interactions.
* Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
