Speech and Language Therapy Assistant-SLTA EYC Haringey
1. To assist in planning and implementing therapy programmes under the direction of a qualified Speech and Language Therapist. 2. To make modifications to activities within these programmes to meet the needs of individual clients, taking into account cultural and linguistic backgrounds. 3. To carry out group and individual sessions to enable the successful assessment and treatment of clients. 4. To support the successful running of training and parent advice sessions. 5. To support the SLT in making appropriate referrals to other agencies aided by knowledge of general child development. 6. To undertake nursery visits as required.
