UK Greetings is a market-leading publisher of greetings cards and gift dressings, and our Private Label studio is where a lot of that creative work happens. We're looking for a talented designer to join us on a fixed-term maternity cover contract for approximately 9 - 12 months, working 4 days per week. If you think about design instinctively, get genuinely excited by a new brief, and enjoy working across a broad mix of styles, then we'd love to hear from you. The day-to-day is varied and fast-moving. You'll be developing distinctive design looks across cards and gift dressings, from classic to contemporary, contributing to new collections and working on existing ranges. You'll need to be adaptable, versatile, and good at managing your time across multiple projects, though we do still make time for tea! A strong eye for colour, composition, typography and illustration is essential. You'll need to stay genuinely curious about where design, fashion and lifestyle trends are heading, and you'll be comfortable working across the latest design packages on a Mac. The role is hybrid, so you'll split your time between our studio and home. Studio time keeps you connected to the team and the creative energy that comes with it, while time at home gives you the space to work in a way that suits you.
