Job Description
I’m working with a well-established law firm in Eastbourne that’s looking to bring in a Civil Litigation Lawyer to join their busy and growing team. This is a rare opportunity, created due to continued demand rather than turnover.
What’s particularly appealing about this role is the breadth of work on offer. You’ll get exposure to a genuinely varied caseload, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys a mix of litigation matters rather than being siloed into one niche area.
The role itself
You’ll be joining a thriving litigation team, handling your own caseload across a broad range of civil disputes, including:
\t
* Property disputes
\t
* Landlord and tenant matters
\t
* Commercial disputes
\t
* Employment-related issues
There’s a strong emphasis on client contact, so you’ll be dealing directly with clients both over the phone and face-to-face, building relationships and providing a high level of service throughout.
Who this would suit
\t
* A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 2+ years’ PQE
\t
* Someone with solid experience across civil litigation matters
\t
* Confident communicator with strong client care skills
\t
* Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
\t
* Comfortable managing their own caseload independently
\t
* Someone with an interest in networking and business development
What you’ll get in return
\t
* The chance to handle a genuinely varied and interesting caseload
\t
* A role with real responsibility and client exposure from day one
\t
* Support to develop both technically and commercially
\t
* A collaborative team where people pull together rather than compete
\t
* Opportunities to get involved in business development and networking
\t
* A competitive salary, bonus structure, and benefits package
This is a great option for a Civil Litigation Lawyer who wants to broaden their experience, work closely with clients, and be part of a firm that values both professional development and long-term progression.
