Role: Programme Manager - Adults & Children's Social Care
Type: Interim/Contract
Salary: Up to 700 per day (Inside IR35)
Hybrid: Occasional travel

Sellick Partnership is partnering with a local authority to recruit a Programme Manager in Adult's & Children's Social Care on an interim basis.
Responsibilities
* Leading organisational redesign and transformation projects across both Adult's and Children's Social Care.
* Managing multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver cultural and operational change.
* Overseeing delivery of complex projects and programmes to agreed timescales, budgets, and objectives.
* Managing programme budgets ranging from 100K- 1m in line with governance processes.
* Driving service redesign, co-designing solutions, and embedding sustainable change across directorates.
* Leading project governance, risk management, and reporting through the corporate PMO framework.
* Building strong stakeholder relationships with executive directors, service leads, partners, and external agencies.
* Line managing project staff and developing the Programme Management Office function.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in programme and project management within local government or the wider public sector.
* A strong track record of delivering service redesign, transformation, and change management programmes.
* Experience working across Adult Social Care (ASC) and Children's Social Care (CSC).
* Strong political awareness and knowledge of current local government policy and funding challenges.
* Skilled in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
* Proven ability to deliver savings and efficiencies while improving service outcomes.
* Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
