Your efforts will ensure the centre remains welcoming, accessible, and well-organised, serving families, schools, artists, and community groups. By coordinating volunteers, you'll help reduce waste, foster creativity, and support local initiatives, contributing to the growth of PARC during a crucial time for environmental and community support.

* Ability to handle basic cash/card transactions
* Willing to learn simple admin tasks (training provided)
* Experience in supervising or supporting others (volunteer, retail, customer service)
* Enthusiastic about creativity, sustainability, and community impact

What will you be doing?

As a reliable, people-focused Team Lead, you'll support the daily operations of our scrapstore and reuse centre. Responsibilities include:

* Welcoming visitors and answering questions

* Supporting volunteers and helping them feel confident
* Coordinating restocking and tidying
* Managing simple admin tasks using a Microsoft Access database (training provided)
* Communicating with the Trustee team about issues or queries

This flexible, collaborative role involves working alongside volunteers and trustees, with room to adapt the role to your skills and availability. Ideally, you’ll be available during our opening hours (Monday to Wednesday 10:00–14:00 and the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month 9:15–14:00). We encourage volunteers interested in long-term involvement to apply.
