Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Operating Room at Optimax Laser Eye Clinic in Leeds. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care during surgical procedures. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of providing outstanding eye care services.
Responsibilities
* To assist and scrub for ophthalmic surgeries including cataract, refractive lens exchange and laser.
* To administer prescribed drugs as necessary.
* To lead the clinic team in providing uncompromised patient care.
* To support the Registered Manager in maintaining clinical and governance compliance.
* Occasional travel to other clinics for the purpose of providing cover and/or training.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years previous theatre scrub experience required (in an ophthalmic setting is ideal but not essential).
* Ability to communicate well in English both verbally and in writing.
* Valid UK PIN/HCPC registration is essential for the role.
* Must live in and be eligible to work in the UK without the need for employer sponsorship.
