Our focus at all times is on ensuring that our patients receive high quality treatment quickly, in clean and comfortable surroundings.
This is a full time position for 37.5 hour a week, covered over 4 working days ranging from 07:00 -17:30.
What you’ll be doing
* You will be working as part of a friendly, welcoming and expert multidisciplinary Theatre Team supported by our experienced Theatre Manager.
* You will act as an advocate for the patient in the intra-operative phase and be responsible for “total patient” care in the perioperative phase.
* You will be a part 1 registered NMC Nurse with experience of being a theatre practitioner or a HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner.
* You will be up to date with current research and developments in theatre practice and have a sound knowledge of Health and Safety/Risk management within the operating department.
* You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care having regard for differing needs of sedation and recovery.
What we’ll look for in you
* Part 1 registered NMC Nurse with experience of being a theatre practitioner or a HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner.
* Sound knowledge of Health and Safety/Risk management within the operating department.
* Experience assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care, with regard to differing needs of sedation and recovery.
