Profile Summary
Your main task includes the production of Management Accounting reports including forecast and budgets for EMEA CIB. This role will also support Deputy Head of Banking COO & Head of Business Reporting for re-modelling of the legacy processes to a centralised model. This role plays a critical part in producing management information to support and analyse business performance, KPI tracking, business development and decision making as well as creating a defined reporting flow where needed.
Duties And Responsibilities
Performance Monitoring & Business Insights:
* Working directory with HD of Business Reporting and wider team members to prepare and analyse a comprehensive Management Accounting report aligned with the Bank's business strategy and operational goals.
* Understanding and managing Budgets, Revenue/Asset, Forecast and Expenses, and monitoring overall performance.
* Covering numerous reporting requirements to Head Office, including Regulatory report and Audit inspections.
* Supporting COO, Front Office and other key stakeholders and managing various ad-hock tasks to support business.
Process Improvement & Adapting New Technology
* Driving continuous improvement in reporting processes by identifying opportunities to automate, standardize, and optimize workflows & processes.
* Supporting transformation from current methodology to new technology utilizing new BI tools to enhance speed, quality, visualization, and real-time reporting.
Data Governance
* Working closely with Finance to ensure compliance rules and internal policies, meeting high standard, accuracy, consistency in timely manner.
* Maintaining a strong understanding of regulatory/policy changes and ensuring reporting methodology adapts accordingly.
Qualifications, Skills, And Experience
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
* Ideally 5+ years of experience in business reporting, data analytics, or financial analysis within a banking/financial institution.
* Proven ability to work with large datasets and complex reporting systems, with hands-on experience in data analysis.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
* Strong understanding of banking operations, regulatory requirements, and financial metrics.
* Experience in driving reporting automation, process improvements, and the implementation of business intelligence tools.
* Advanced data reconciliations and analysis with Excel.
* Advanced skill's set for Power Point & Word.
