Teaching Assistant - Ad-Hoc Supply
Role: Teaching Assistant (LSA)
Location: Spalding, PE11
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Ad-hoc / Flexible Supply
Pay: £95-£110 daily rate (depending on experience and qualification)
Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant/ Teaching Assistant looking for flexible, ad-hoc work in a welcoming primary school environment?
Aspire People are working with a school in Spalding area who are seeking reliable and adaptable LSAs to provide support on an ad-hoc basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, can integrate quickly into new environments, and is confident supporting pupils across the primary age range.
The Role:
As an LSA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons
* Providing 1:1 support for pupils who require additional guidance
* Leading and assisting with small group interventions
* Supporting pupils with general classroom learning and targeted intervention work
* Supervising pupils during break times and in the lunch hall
* Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
* Has proven experience working within a UK primary school setting
* Is confident supporting pupils with a range of learning needs
* Demonstrates strong behaviour management skills
* Is flexible, proactive, and able to adapt at short notice
