We’re seeking a VIP Support Engineer to provide white-glove IT support for C-suite executives and senior leadership at our client’s UK headquarters. This role is critical to ensuring seamless technology experiences for high-profile end users, combining technical expertise with exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver on-site, face-to-face VIP support (deskside and remote) with a focus on urgency, discretion, and professionalism.
* Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware (laptops, mobile devices, AV systems) and software (Windows OS, MS Office, VPNs).
* Manage IMACDs (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes, Disposals), data migrations, and device refreshes.
* Provide smart hands/eyes support for network, server, and voice infrastructure teams.
* Resolve tickets within SLAs, coordinate with vendors, and ensure compliance with security protocols.
* Support after-hours/on-call requests (rotational basis) and off-site events as needed.
Requirements
* 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience, including executive (C-suite) assistance.
* Expertise in Windows OS (including 11), Office 365, mobile devices, and networking basics.
* Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
* Soft Skills: Stellar communication, problem-solving, and the ability to lift 30lbs.
* Flexibility to travel to nearby cluster sites when required.
* Experience with AV systems, disaster recovery protocols, or ITIL frameworks.
