About the role
We are seeking a proactive, ambitious Packaging Account Handler with excellent communication skills and a strong knowledge of the artwork / reprographic and printing industry. The ideal candidate will manage key accounts, coordinate with cross functional teams, and ensure our packaging solutions meet client specifications and timelines. This role will involve close coordination with clients, internal teams and will involve using our in house MIS / Artwork Systems for project tracking and delivery.
Responsibilities
* Manage and grow packaging accounts as the primary client contact for assigned clients
* Collaborate with clients to understand their packaging requirements, brand guidelines, and technical specifications
* Coordinate artwork, repro, and flexographic print processes to ensure accurate and timely production
* Liaise with internal teams to ensure they understand the client requirements
* Develop and maintain project timelines
* Support new business development by identifying opportunities within existing accounts
Required Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in packaging, artwork coordination, repro, and/or flexographic printing
* Strong understanding of packaging materials, print processes, colour management, and production workflows
* Excellent account management, communication and relationship building skills
* Ability to interpret client briefs, create accurate specifications, and communicate requirements across teams
* Problem solving mindset with a structured, proactive approach to project delivery
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
Desirable Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years experience in the reprographic / packaging industry
* Experience in a manufacturing or packaging production environment
* Familiarity with cross functional teams and client facing roles
Location and Working Pattern
* Onsite role preferred at York or Hull – with travel between sites
* An initial training month onsite to meet the Team and establish workflows
* Post training, hybrid working may be considered for the right candidate
