There is an exciting opportunity to join Bellway, one of the UK’s largest house builders. Our Thames Gateway Division is looking to recruit a Technical Administrator to join the Division’s Technical team.
The Role
The role of Technical Administrator will be to provide support to the Technical Director in the day to day running of the office and to provide secretarial and administration support to the technical department.
Principal accountabilities of the role include:
1. Collate, copy & circulate departmental sections of internal / Group reports
2. Carry out general office duties including typing, copying, filing, archiving, processing and circulating reports and minutes, including ad-hoc minute taking and coordinating service technical meetings to include refreshments
3. Keep departmental holiday forms, charts and absence records up to date
4. Management and circulation of departmental post (incoming / outgoing)
5. Issue all drawings and specifications for Technical Team and update ‘Links’ for technical drawing issues
6. Assist with Plot Handover Packs, procedure management and maintenance and accessing of Central Archive system
Experience, Qualifications and Skills
Experience
7. Previous experience working in a secretarial / administration role
8. Technical admiration experience is desirable
Qualifications and Training
9. No formal qualifications are necessary, but evidence of relevant experience and skills will be required
