What the Job Involves You will manage sheltered housing schemes to ensure a high standard of housing-related support is provided. Your duties include welcoming new service users, maintaining communal areas, promoting user safety, assessing and addressing needs, and ensuring fair access to services. You will also handle safeguarding enquiries, help service users maintain their tenancy, report voids, and facilitate re-letting of flats. Additional responsibilities include promoting community engagement, responding to emergencies, monitoring repairs, and supporting anti-social behavior issues. Regular record-keeping and reporting are essential, as well as participating in team activities, meeting arrangements, and adherence to relevant legislation and council policies.
