We are currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Milling Machine Setter/Operator/Programmer to join a well-established engineering business in Dudley. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist to work with modern equipment and contribute to the production of precision components to the highest standards.
The Role
*
Setting, programming, and operating a range of CNC Milling Machines, including:
*
Brand new Doosan NH400 Horizontal twin pallet
*
Horizontal Bridgeport twin pallet machine
*
Cincinnati Vertical Milling machines with 4th Axis
*
Using CAD/CAM software when required (Dolphin software)
*
Manufacturing bearing components and precision parts to specification
*
Working to engineering drawings and maintaining high-quality standards
*
Promoting good housekeeping for a safe and efficient workplace
Person Specification
*
Experience in programming on Fanuc controls (essential)
*
Ability to use CAD/CAM software (advantageous but not essential)
*
Fully experienced in CNC milling with strong product and technical knowledge
*
Able to self-inspect using micrometers, verniers, depth micrometers, etc.
Hours of Work
*
Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:15
*
Friday: 07:30 – 12:00
*
Overtime available:
*
Mon–Thurs @ 1.333
*
Fri–Sat @ 1.5
