Job description
* Ensuring a safe working area at all times
* Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping within all yard and storage areas as well as in the vehicle
* Remove stock from shipment delivery trucks
* Ensuring the correct and safe storage of slabs
* Ensure all old stock is accessible before new stock is used, supporting a FIFO (First In, First Out) process with old stock in front of new
* Ongoing stock counts on daily/weekly basis with check against recorded quantities to ensure complete accuracy at all times
* Tracking of stock and supplies that need restocking;
* Support other team members as required once duties are complete and in order.
* Skilled and proficient at entering and verifying data and maintaining necessary driver records
* Fork Lift Truck and other truck related qualifications are desirable but refresher training can be given
* Self-motivated, proactive individual
* Full flexibility with working hours, willing to work some weekends on an overtime basis
* Capable of working in a pressurized environment
* Adaptable and a good team player with demonstrable skills
* Able to build and maintain effective working relationships
* Able to effectively communicate with team members
* Enquiring mind, willingness to adopt new approaches
* Able to demonstrate good verbal and numerical skill
* 48 hours per week, paid breaks
