Your future team values collaboration, practical problem solving, and engineers who want to make a real impact on site.JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Job MissionThis is a predominantly site-based role at Hinkley Point C, with candidates required to live within commutable distance of Bridgwater or be open to relocation support.You will support mechanical construction delivery across a complex nuclear site and act as a key engineering interface between contractors and design teams.Support mechanical installation activities across HVAC, pipework, or equipment systems️ Act as a contractor-facing engineering point of contact for site queriesReview mechanical drawings and layouts for constructability and site constraintsInterface with engineers to resolve design and installation issuesSupport management of technical queries, non-conformances, and design changesCoordinate mechanical interfaces with other engineering disciplinesSupport installation sequencing, access planning, and site readiness activitiesParticipate in site walkdowns, inspections, and technical discussions️ Ensure works comply with nuclear safety, quality, and configuration requirementsMY PROFILE️ Required Skills and QualificationsNuclear experience is not essential, but is of course welcome. If you have worked within a highly regulated environment, your skills and approach are highly transferable and of strong interest to us.We also recognise that the perfect candidate rarely exists.
