We are recruiting for Street Cleaning Operatives to join our friendly Neighbourhood Services team here at East Lindsey District Council based in Louth.
Our team are responsible for keeping our towns, villages, green spaces and foreshores clean and tidy for residents and visitors alike, working shifts and in all weather conditions. You will be joining a dedicated and hardworking team that operates in all weathers throughout the year.
Typical duties
* To assist the team with the cleansing of Council public toilets, empty street bins, litter picking raising the standards of the area.
* Grounds maintenance of Councils public spaces.
* Ensuring at all vehicle and plant are clean and maintained to a good standard.
* Responsible for maintaining health, safety and welfare of yourself, your team members and members of the public. Following the Councils policies & procedures.
What do we need from you?
* Current valid driving licence.
* Be able to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
* A positive approach to every task.
We are looking for individuals who have excellent team working skills, time management skills and someone with a high degree of attention to detail. You will work on a rota which will require some weekend work.
