Overview
Electrical Engineer / Electrician required to join a leading M&E (mechanical & electrical) installation company.
The successful Electrical Engineer / Electrician will be field-based, covering Devon, Plymouth, Cornwall, Dorest and surrounding areasresponsible for installation, maintenance, testing, and fault finding across a range of industrial, commercial, and domestic projects. The role will have a strong focus on supporting HVAC systems, controls, and renewable technologies, working closely with project teams to deliver high-quality electrical installations.

Electrical Engineer / Electrician Role
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for power, lighting, and controls.
* Carry out wiring and electrical support for HVAC, BMS, and renewable energy systems.
* Perform testing, inspection, and fault finding in line with 18th Edition and IEE regulations.
* Support project delivery across industrial, commercial, and domestic sites.
* Liaise with site managers, project teams, and clients to ensure safe and efficient installations.
* Field-based, covering Devon, Plymouth, Cornwall, Dorest and surrounding areas
Electrical Engineer / Electrician Requirements
* Qualified Electrician with recognised electrical qualifications.
* Gold CSCS/ECS card and 18th Edition certification (BS 7671).
* Full UK driving licence.
* Experience across industrial, commercial, or domestic electrical projects.
* 2391 Test & Inspection and/or SSSTS / SMSTS certification is advantageous.
* Strong fault-finding, testing, and problem-solving skills.
* Field-based, covering Devon, Plymouth, Cornwall, Dorest and surrounding areas
* Regular trips into the office and merchants for part collection based near Newton Abbot
