Senior Development Infrastructure Officer
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee delivery of developer-funded and third-party highway infrastructure projects (S106 & S278 agreements)
* Act as main point of contact for developers, contractors, designers, and stakeholders
* Coordinate technical administration and monitor project progress from planning consent to adoption
* Ensure compliance with legal obligations, standards, and agreements
* Prepare formal documentation and secure financial contributions and fees
* Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders
* Uphold organisational values, equality duties, and health & safety requirements
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience managing highway infrastructure projects via S106 & S278 processes
* Degree-level education or equivalent knowledge with commitment to professional development
* Strong knowledge of highway legislation, design standards, and construction practices
* Good understanding of health & safety requirements
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
* Strong analytical, organisational, and planning skills
* High level of IT literacy
* Ability to build effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders
