JOB TITLE: Support Worker - Learning Disability/Mental Health LOCATION: Railway Court and Woodbank House, Omagh POST: Reserve List for Permanent/Temporary, Part-time/Full-Time and Reserve List in the Omagh Area Essential Criteria QCF/NVQ 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent And 6 months experience in a formal care/support role* and previous experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities/ mental health issues. Must be currently registered with NISCC or if new to the sector must achieve registration within 6 months. Previous experience in administrative duties. Or 2 years' experience in a formal care /support role* and previous experience of working with individuals with Learning Disabilities/ Mental Health issues. Must be currently registered with NISCC or if new to the sector must achieve registration within 6 months Previous experience in administrative duties. Must be willing to work towards the completion of relevant qualification. *Formal Care / Support may include caring at home, where the carer is in receipt of Carers' Allowance. Formal Care / Support may also include voluntary work in a formal setting. This is a regulated post and will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Access NI check.
