Residential Property Conveyancer – Skipton
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Conveyancer or Legal Executive to join a reputable, L500 legal practice at its Skipton office. This is a full-time position suited to a motivated individual who can manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision while delivering excellent client care.
You will be responsible for handling a full residential property caseload from instruction through to completion, including both freehold and leasehold transactions. You will work closely with clients, estate agents and other solicitors to ensure a smooth and efficient conveyancing process.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to business development by building relationships with local clients and professional contacts in and around the Skipton area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing sale and purchase transactions from file opening to post-completion
* Advising clients on all aspects of residential conveyancing
* Preparing and reviewing legal documentation
* Ensuring compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements
* Raising invoices and managing financial transactions
* Taking responsibility for certain supervisory tasks when required
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar conveyancing role
* Strong knowledge of freehold and leasehold transactions
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload
* Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
