Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caretaker to provide essential support and assistance in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in our school in Sandbach (CW11 area).
Duties
* Daily, weekly checks on fire alarms, water, heating etc
* Keyholder: opening school up and grounds maintenance
* Basic DIY
* Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
* Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and children
Skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Staff and Contractors
* Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Good organisational skills to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
* Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.

* Working within a school setting
Hours of work are Monday and Friday 7am - 11am, Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday 9am - 1pm this is based on 42 weeks so it is pro rata which means your hourly rate will be reduced to spread over the weeks you are not working, all employees are paid monthly on the 5th working day - 20 hours per week

Pay: £13.75 per hour
