Flood Risk Analyst Position
Job Summary:
This role involves working as part of a team to produce and manage flood risk mapping and modeling evidence. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of GIS systems, hydrological estimation for flood flows, and data management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review third-party models submitted for new developments in high-risk areas to ensure accurate representation of flooding patterns.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of current methodologies used in creating public resources accessed via NRW's website.
Skill Requirements:
To be successful in this position, you must have strong communication skills that enable effective collaboration with stakeholders. Additionally, you should be proficient in various software tools relevant to this field such as ArcGIS or similar technology platforms.
